The project involved conducting research and implementing innovative measures to enhance the garbage and recycling system in the Portland metro area. This included the development of decals in multiple sizes to accommodate bin sizes, user-friendly signs with clear visuals, and color-coded schemes. These decals aimed to assist residents in accurately identifying the appropriate disposal destinations for their waste. The project prioritized ensuring that the decals adhered to reading accessibility standards.
